Spray your horses mane and tail with silicone spray for a tangle free comb out. You will be amazed - it really works!
One of the best "blooms" you can put on a horse's coat is through "rice bran". Feed just a little on your grain, and your horse will "shed off" early and maintain a good hair coat as long as you wish.
If you really have to get hair off asap, take a (or several pieces) of used gas barbecue charcoal rocks, and groom as you would with a brush. You will be amazed at the "shine" you will achieve.
